BT’s 9th Annual Gumbo Cookoff

What started off as a friendly competition between two friends is now an annual competition among Chefs and home cooks. This year´s competition will include 3-time champion home cook Kevin Grogan, 2-time champion Chef Janelle Reynolds, and 1-time champion home cook Brian Tolbert. This years contestants include Brett Berry of Armadillo Den, Exec. Chef Donnie Forehand, Chef Extraordinaire Zack Northcutt, and many more chefs and home cooks….
Each contestant submits 3 gallons of their finest Cajun cuisine to be judged by a panel of judges and everyone in attendance. Panel Judges commence at 3:30pm and Peoples Choice judging/sampling begins at 4pm.
*Donation levels:
– $10 samples of each gumbo
– $20 samples of each gumbo and one bowl of your choice of gumbo
– $30 unlimited samples and bowls
**50% of proceeds go to Operation Turkey and 50% goes to the charity of the winner chosen by the Panel of Judges.
