One is an outlaw, described as a potential godson to Haggard, Cash, and Jennings in a review after playing our “Spring Fling Music Festival”, the other deep-rooted in the Texas songwriting tradition of Van Zandt, Clark, and Foley – together, David Touchton and Shad Blair are responsible for the Honky Tonk flair every second and fourth Monday of the month at Giddy Ups.

With his trio David animates the dancing couples to whirl up some dust, together with Shad after 9pm, they share their newest twists and turns in songs you need to discover. Is it David’s thunderous bass vocals or Shad’s intricate story-telling, you are in for a treat.
