OTB Karaoke w/Big John
Do you sing in the shower, do you think you could keep it up with the “Rat Pack” or are you gonna swing like George Strait? I for myself would probably do the mostly instrumental version of “Tequila” by The Champs, talking about good memories and being able to remember that one word: “Tequila.”
Big John and his “Only The Best Karaoke” have a big, regular following every Sunday night at Giddy Ups, which doesn’t mean that newcomers aren’t welcomed. With a huge monthly updated songbook, y’all will find what you would like to share with the enthusiastic audience.
Some of the favorites include “Friends In Low Places,” “Don’t Stop Believin'” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” – so come sing along or ask for “YOUR” song.
Or for the occasion of it being July, 4th; you may come and intone Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The USA,” maybe the National Anthem, or Dave Alvin’s “Fourth Of July.”
The Biggest Little Stage in South Austin. We are a cozy and small bar, one of the last true live music Honky Tonks still existing in South Austin.
