If you're looking for something cool, exciting and FREE to do with you little ones this summer, the Austin Symphony Children's Day Art Park (CDAP) has you covered! Fun activities and musical guests are lined up as part of the experience along with the Master of Ceremonies, Bernadette Nason. Come experience the magic for yourself because summer in Austin means CDAP! *New events have been added this summer - see below!

Wednesday, June 5 - Jacob Rivera "6 Flags of Rhythm" with String Quartet
Wednesday, June 12 - "Peter and the Wolf" with Woodwind Quintet, Timpani & English Horn
Wednesday, June 19 - "Mole Music" with String Quartet
Wednesday, June 26, Teddy Bear Picnic Day - "Hansel and Gretel" with Woodwind Quintet
Wednesday, July 10 - "Ada's Violin" with String Quartet
Wednesday, July 17 - "Carnival of the Animals" with String Quartet
Wednesday, July 24 - Joe McDermott with Woodwind Quintet

Join in discovering the wonder and excitement that the performing arts can bring when you attend CDAP, an Austin tradition for over 40 years! Before the featured performance, kids can visit the Instrument Zoo to see, touch and play real orchestral instruments. At 10:30 a.m. performances especially geared for young children are presented on stage by some of Austin's most-loved entertainers, hosted by Austin favorite, Bernadette Nason. After the mini-concert, attendees can enjoy interactive stations, instrument making, rotating arts and crafts such as mask making and other fun pursuits, coloring and story time with Bernadette Nason.

Friday, June 21 - "Mole Music" with String Quartet (Gustavo "Gus" Garcia Recreation Center, 7 p.m.)
"Mole Music" will be read in Spanish and English. An outdoor movie, as part of the Gus Garcia Recreation Center's "Movies in the Park" series, will follow at approx. 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 25 - "Hansel and Gretel" with Woodwind Quintet (Old Quarry Branch, 2 p.m.)
Thursday, July 18 - "Carnival of the Animals" with String Quartet (Millwood Branch, 2 p.m.)
