Musicians in Austin are donating their time and talent to help raise funds for Giddy Ups.
Please join us for an evening of live music featuring Kathy Murray and Bill Jones of Kathy and the Kilowatts live-stream Benefit for Giddy Ups "The Biggest Little Stage in South Austin".
Kathy and the Kilowatts held a successful 4th Friday residency at Giddy Ups for over 3 years and hope to resume it when things open back up.
With their recent Nola Blue Records release of "Premonition of Love", and the successful 2017 release of "Let's Do This Thing", Kathy Murray and her band, the electrifying Kilowatts, reassert their place in the blues pantheon that helps Austin, TX keep its reputation as the Live Music Capital of the World.

"Many people have made friends for life in that little "living" room called Giddy Ups - I've called it my living room for years as my residence is not large enough to accommodate all the great people I've met
also part of why I started using the moniker "welcome home" for years now"
For years Nancy Morgan through Giddy Ups has selflessly provided numerous fundraising benefits for our community and people in need.
This quote is part of a recent post by Nancy that I couldn't have written any better. "Giddy Ups is a small live music-venue for 25 years. I'm not just a bar, I am a community of people helping people. As the very 1st live music venue in South Austin we are a place where upcoming musicians can get a start, and seasoned musicians can expand their audience to include South Austin. Every single event I have hosted all these years has been for charity, Ronald McDonald house, kids cancer camps, hounds for heroes, a variety of scholarships, Blue Santa, funds for medical expenses for numerous people, raised funds for families devastated by fire or floods, and more, a very long list. Thousands of dollars we've raised as a caring community- for a couple of decades now. Giddy Ups has been known as "the benefit queen of South Austin" and we are always willing to help."
Nancy has paid it forward for years.
It's time for us to give back.
Please make a donation to help her keep Giddy Ups afloat until she can open back up.
