Ends Nov 8, 2019

Our final event in the series will be led by Blanton curator Veronica Roberts, in conversation with Derry Noyes, Artistic Director for the US Postal Service about her design of the 2019 Ellsworth Kelly stamps and thirty years of experience designing art stamps. We're also delighted to confirm that sheets of these stamps will be available for purchase in our Museum Shop!

This event will take place in our Capitol Room, located across the plaza in our Smith building, and is free with museum admission. Everyone is welcome to bring lunch. Paid parking is available in the Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; present your ticket in the museum for the discounted rate.

About Kelly &...
Launched in conjunction with the opening of Ellsworth Kelly's "Austin" in 2018, this informal series explores interesting facets of Kelly's practice, from his service in the Ghost Army during World War II to his postcard collages, a little-known, fascinating body of work. All talks are held on Fridays at 12 noon in the Smith Building Capitol Room and are free with museum admission. You are welcome to bring your lunch.

Funding provided by the M.K. Hage Centennial Visiting Professorship in Fine Arts.
