  1. Great overall customer service. Some glasses that my brother got here were broken when moving and I reached out to see if I could order some from a completely different city and Eric made sure to understand my situation and accommodate me. While I haven’t had the opportunity to eat here, I have heard the food and drinks are great.

  2. I love BD Rileys at this location! Their food is always on point and have amazing grilled chicken salad options if you want to go for a healthier option (it is my absolute favorite grilled chicken salad in the city – I get it without the bacon and add dried cranberries, with ranch) You can also get it with spicy ranch if you want to kick it up a notch (it has a kick!) Dressing is on the side so you can determine the perfect level. My wife loves the shepherds pie and the brunch options are amazing. It is always more than enough (sometimes enough for two!) and the quality shines through. The waitstaff is always really nice and attentive, even when it gets crazy busy during football or other events. Raven is a waiter that stands out above the crowd, personable yet professional. A manger/owner/partner is always available and frequently stops by your table to make sure everything is perfect. They also are taking appropriate precautions during COVID to keep everyone safe!

  3. quick disclosure that the owner has known me since i was a wee little baby, but i want to shed some knowledge, so i am leaving my thoughts.

personal relationship or not, BDs mueller is a five star spot for me. you get all the things you always loved about BDs 6th: live music, great food, friendly service, authentic pub feel, and you get it in a larger space with a kick ass patio. finding a good patio during covid is like striking gold, and this one meets the mark. there plenty of seating, all distanced, and with the open concept of the pub, it truly feels like an extension of the indoors and isn’t so isolated-feeling (while still strictly adhering to the covid regulations, which is amazing).

the food has always been fantastic (we regularly get the fried mushrooms, fish and chips, and grilled cheese) — but i recently tried a few new things:

    – reuben fritters: like…. what!! as an avid reuben fan, i was intrigued, and they lived up to my hopes. perfectly crisp and flavorful. i had never seen anything like this on a menu before (maybe i’ve seen an egg roll) and was so glad they were delicious!

    – honey sriracha chicken: that might not be the right name, but look for whatever is the hot n sweet flavor. packs a bite but is so yummy. the kitchen does a great job and the fried chicken is always perfectly cooked.

    – french dip: another home run! it was hearty enough for my dad and i to split and STILL feel like we had plenty to eat (but i guess, look at our apps). bread was fresh, meat was tender, and the au jus was super flavorful.

i am thrilled to see BDs having success with this location and highly recommend a visit when you are in the area. they are offering takeout within a certain radius distance right now due to the pandemic, so take out or stop in and get yourself some fritters!!

  4. We have been looking for good fish and chips and we have found it. They are actually chips, not french fries. The pub atmosphere is fun. Looking forward to coming back and trying lots of other things on the menu. The staff was wonderful. Our waiter, Zachary was terrific

  6. We were looking for a shady patio where we could eat lunch while we waited for a vet appointment to be done. We’d seen Riley’s before (when visiting Alamo Drafthouse, pre-Covid) and since we love pub grub, decided to try it.

A large shaded patio area with an industrial sized ceiling fan beckoned us in. Large signs advised that masks were required – no problem! We want to be safe. Tables were well-spaced and staff were all masked, so we felt secure.

It was seat-yourself, so we chose a low-top table beside the street (and across from a loud construction site, which was the only negative of our visit!).

A friendly server (named Peaches) met us as we sat down, giving us a QR Code placard to use to see the menu and taking our drink order.

We had unsweetened iced tea (only $1.86) and ordered a Cesar salad (no meat) and the corned beef sandwich with Swiss. The salad was very large, fresh, and tasty, with homemade croutons and a non-fishy-tasting dressing. My sandwich had a lot of delicious corned beef with garlic dill pickle slices and grilled onions on thick, toasted rye, plus the warm, melted Swiss cheese. It came with a tasty savory mustard that I asked for on the side. It was also accompanied by a huge order of traditional “chips” – battered, fried, thick-cut potatoes.

Service was perfect! Peaches kept an eye on us without being intrusive and refilled tea as needed. What a wonderful lunch!!

  7. BD Riley’s is a great pub with good food too! I went with my family and we had a great experience.
There was no wait, and it’s open seating. They’ve got a great patio area and plenty of TVs.
Our waiter was friendly and attentive. All of the meals were tasty and filling, with reasonable prices.
It’s in a great location, and I’ll definitely be back again!
