  1. I had a lot of fun here. The indoor outdoor vibe with Jenga on the tables and an awesome Dj make it feel like you’re at someone’s really cool house party. Not too crowded but definitely bumping for a fun Saturday night pick on rainy st.

  2. Indoor bar is big enough to serve MANY people at once. Bartenders are very friendly and accommodating! Came in on a weekend around 4:00 today and the crowd was moderate–most tables were taken outside but still some to choose from! Like most Rainey bars, this one is dog friendly!

I was having a hard time deciding between the cranberry margarita and the chocolate strawberry drink. The bartender guessed my dilemma: strawberry vs cranberry. She told me she could make time the cranberry margarita with the fresh strawberry purée. So I went with it!!! A MAZE ING.
Live DJ inside on weekend nites & also some other times..but glass makes them visible to outdoor crew too!

chill bar. chill folks. drink & chill here.

  3. I got roofied while on a date and the bouncer, Trey, could tell something was wrong so he got the cops for me. Thank you Trey for saving my life. Very professional. If I ever get roofied again I hope I’m at bungalow because I know Trey will keep me safe.

  4. Great outdoor space and people! My girlfriend and I came down from Kansas City for thanksgiving and was looking for a place to grab a few drinks to top the night off. They were one of maybe 3 bars open that night. The bartender was pretty friendly and the service was quick. We ventured out back into the larger outdoor space that had plenty of seating and lights, as well as a dog friendly atmosphere so that was pretty nice to see. A little different than the bars where we are from!

  5. We absolutely loved it here and would recommend. Bartenders was well attentive and served up decent drinks. It’s a bit chill though so I’d say start your night here, take some photos in front of the wall, and drink a bit before moving on down the street.

  6. Big bar with a house like inside and a large lawn outside. Decent drink prices, good crowd with a ton of cute dogs around. Live music was bumpin on Saturday afternoon. I’ve I lived here I would definitely come back often.

  7. Bungalow has been a stop for me on Rainy St both times I’ve been. The space is so inviting, and I love the backyard! It truly feels like a giant house party. I’ve stayed in the yard because the inside gets super cramped, but there’s plenty of space outside. Last time I was there they were rocking some early 2000s hip hop which was right up my alley. Bungalow is definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

  8. We were looking for a chill place to chat and this place was perfect. It was early but the bar tender was knowledgeable and gave great service. Nice scene outside too. The miles are so good, and I tried the watermelon delight, so tasty and fresh, not too sweet.

  9. Went in for happy hour last Tuesday with a few friends. Donna was super friendly and attentive. The Watermelon Thump is awesome!!! Also, really enjoyed the Halloween decorations!! Super cute. Great atmosphere and chill patio with good drink specials. Perfect setting for a HH. Donna and Sam really made it a great experience!! Will definitely be back!! I clearly love exclamation points…

  10. Bungalow does a good job.

With a solid craft cocktail menu, a bunch of beers on tap and a fun scene with a bunch of mini drinking games in the back, this place is great for a relaxing week night or a hungover Sunday brunch with their delicious Bloody Mary bar.

I’ve sampled a couple of their cocktails, played all of the games in back and been here on slow days and busy days. Consistently good experiences here.

  11. This is a great place to chill. Last time I was there I played checkers and cards against humanity while sipping on cold drinks with friends. There’s always something going on whether it’s live music or watching football.

  12. Story time!!!
There once was a girl from California planning a bachlorette party to be had in Austin, TX. This girl was a lost puppy to to figure out where oh where to have their big night in this glorious city. She found herself on Rainey St. on a Wednesday (only 3 days from the big event!!) walking around praying to the bachlorette goddesses that she would find just the right place… She went to Icenhauer’s which seemed too intense and then to Clive, which seemed to laid back and then out of the sky the goddesses delivered Nick, a DJ who was showed up to lead us to the right location. He said, “Ladies, I know just what you need…” and lead us right to Bungalow. Not too crazy, but just crazy enough? Not too fancy, but not too casual? Promises of dancing, good drinks, cute boys, and AC inside so we wouldn’t melt! OH MY! The goddesses did not disappoint. Bungalow was everything that was promised and more! The End!
A special shout out to: Nick (the bar tour guide/DJ), Chad (most calm and collect manager ever!) and Donna (can she just be my personal bar tender??)
